Ocular Prostheses

M. François Gordon clinic also specializes in the maintenance of ocular prostheses.

Our ocularists will polish and test your prosthesis. We also examine your eye socket tissue (conjunctivitis, etc.) and adnexa (eyelids and eyelashes).

Maintenance of your ocular prosthesis is recommended every 6 months and some golden rules need to be followed. Only manipulate your prosthesis if necessary. The less you handle your artificial eye, the better your eye socket tissues will be. If you have any eyelash or dust in your socket, it is recommended to remove the prosthesis and clean it.
